The 2025 CA-SFEC In-Person Consortium brought together partners, such as NAFSCE, the California Department of Education (CDE), UC Irvine, and PIQE. This annual gathering served as a catalyst for deepening connections and shaping the future of statewide family engagement systems.

Throughout the day, consortium members explored strategies to build educator capacity, align efforts across institutions, and bridge the gap between research and practice.
Together, attendees reaffirmed their commitment to creating a cohesive, inclusive, and sustainable approach to family engagement across California. As a collective, we are moving toward a statewide system where families grow into advocates in their communities.
